3 Weddings and a Funeral

well... not really! But here's a couple
weddings & engagement and a TTD for ya! ;)

Small... intimate... spur of the moment...
we love these types of weddings! It proves
the point that bigger is not always better!
Brandon and Justeen are a perfect example of
this! Their private ceremony allowed them
time to get a ton of gorgeous shots that
many couples often don't get because of the
tight restraints they have on time during
the day. Don't get me wrong, we love the
big weddings too, but sometimes... it's the
little ones that leave the biggest impressions.



Here's a peek at Monty (Angie's brother)
& Misty's engagement session, along with
a pic from their recent wedding!!!

Courtney & Brent are great!
They definitely know the value of their
pictures! Being avid bow hunters, they
were definite on incorporating that somehow
in the pics. We had a beautiful location
to shoot at and every pic was perfect.


And finally Brittany, and her trash the
dress session. She has to know that she
is not only beautiful, but the strongest
woman I know! She has gone through more in
the last year, than many people go
through in their entire life... so she
was definitely overdue for some happiness
in her life! We are so psyched for her
and Logan and their new family unit!
We couldn't be happier for them.

Mills Wedding

Josh and Kelly are so nice and their wedding
was incredibly sweet. Besides being the nicest
couple you could ever meet, their family was
nice too! Their wedding day had a couple
ups and downs, but everyone handled it with grace!

Josh and Kelly were so much fun!
They were game for anything we wanted
to do! We even went outside during the
reception to snap some awesome shots!
They were great!!!

We hope the Mr. & Mrs. are enjoying being
newlyweds! We couldn't ask for better clients!

A Valentine's Day Wedding!

Meet the new Mr. & Mrs. Clark!!!
Katie and Patrick made their wedding their
own by moving the date and rearranging
everything they thought they wanted to
everything they KNEW they wanted!!

Simple, Private, and sooo Beautiful!
Their day expressed exactly who they are
as a couple and it was completely romantic!

Katie was a stunning bride and Patrick
was the happiest groom we have ever met
in our lives! Their love just radiates
between them and we couldn't be happier
for them! Congrats guys for making your
wedding day.... YOURS!!! :)

Whipkey Wedding

Fall weddings are absolutely gorgeous!
Especially when we are able to get outside
and capture some of the beautiful colors in the trees!

Angie and Lauren shoot some beautiful photos of
this small country wedding... the yellow leaves are to
die for! I just love them! They make the pics so much
more! I included a pic of their candle because it's
something different. I love how they have their names
etched in it as well as his childrens.
Their blended family is so cute! We wish them ALL
the best of the luck! Congrats!!

Alfred Wedding

Kristen and Matt are a BEAUTIFUL couple
and they have the coolest story ever!
They lived beside each other practically
their whole lives and never dated until
after high school! Now look at them...
THEY ARE MARRIED!

They had a gorgeous wedding and Kristen
was a GORGEOUS bride. She was completely
organized (the way we like it lol) and she
was totally at ease the whole day.
If she was nervous, she definitely wasn't
going to show it!

The guys were so much fun! They were
easy going and full of fun ideas for
their group shots. I can't believe how
many pics we got from this wedding. There
were almost 500 edited pics! They have so
many pics to choose from!

I can't wait to see which ones they choose!

Thorn Wedding

We have the nicest brides & grooms!
Everyone has been soooo nice and appreciative
this wedding season! We LOVE that! It makes our
jobs soooo much easier! And it makes the pictures
we shoot even more amazing!

The bride - Katie and her dad arrived in their
own personal horse drawn wagon. How cool is that?!
And then the bride and groom - Drew gained some extra
horsepower as they left the ceremony site and rode a
couple hundred yards away to the reception in a
Corvette convertible.

This wedding really had some cool perks!
Katie and Drew's wedding cake really topped the
evening off! It was the perfect wedding cake for their
country themed wedding! Its design was so good that
Angie and Crystal (who helped since I am stuck at home
to do nothing but edit, blog and take pics of my friends
babies, lol) didn't even know it was the wedding cake!
They took pics of this, but didn't know that it was the
cake for the longest time!
Super cool!

Davis Wedding

I didn't have the privilege of shooting this wedding,
so Angie grabbed our photog friend Allie and dragged her
along! She was such a big help! Her pics really complimented
the style we strive for!

The bride and groom are the nicest people ever! They are
so appreciative of everything and they really had a good time
throughout the entire wedding!

A huge storm was on its way prior to the wedding, but it gave Angie
and Allie the coolest shot with a RAINBOW!!!

Even though this organized teacher had everything planned to a T,
the rain got in the way! Angie said it rained harder than she had ever
seen just 5 minutes before the wedding!
But the bride and groom just went with the flow!
They were soooo easy going!

The ring bearer was such a ham. He acted like he didn't
want his pictures taken... but as you can tell... he
definitely didn't mind at all!

Since the bride and groom saw each other before they had a ton of
photos together and their transition from wedding to reception
went soooo smooth! The guests weren't kept waiting and the stress
level was nonexistent!

We wish these newlyweds all the best! They were GREAT!

Elswick Wedding

Lindsay is the nicest bride... EVER!
Trust us on that!

Her wedding was outside... our favorite!
Lindsay glowed the whole day and her pictures
completely capture how beautiful her the wedding was.

The new "Elswicks" are totally in love.
You could tell every aspect of their wedding had
been planned with great detail... from the outdoor site,
to the accents of red, to the horse and carriage.

Their personalities really shined in the
details of their wedding.

We wish them all the best...
we just love them!

Archer Wedding

Meet Brad & Erica!

They are tooo cute!
They had one of the prettiest receptions we've seen in a while.
The black and white damask with the highlights of pink was beautiful!
Let's not forget about the food... which was absolutely delicious!

If you need a caterer... Little Creek Country Club in
Charleston made some amazingly great food!

They also had a super cute idea that we haven't seen
at any of our weddings. There were cards on a table
with the favors that you could grab as you were leaving
that gave instructions on how you could upload photos
you had taken at their wedding to a site that would allow
them to see and print them if they wished!

Super AWESOME! Don't waste money on the disposables
for the table... that lets face it never get filled up and
then never end up getting printed! Try this idea... super cool!

We had such a fun time at this wedding and
we couldn't be happier for Brad & Erica!

Atkins Wedding

Allison and Chris are the best!
They had been planning their wedding for
over a year and my did it fly by!

I can't believe they are finally married!
They are soooo in love. Their ceremony was
so sweet and their love just radiated throughout
the church.

Their pictures before the wedding were so much
fun! They really let go and allowed us to capture
some super cool moments.

We also ranked their reception as one of our favorites.
The food was amazing and everything was beautiful.

We love Allison and Chris and we are so excited for them
as they start their new lives together!

Felter Wedding

Tara & Justin were a blast!
They were sooo organized, we had time to spare!
Having all that extra time allowed us to
capture some great shots that we might not have
gotten had we been super crunched for time.

I loved loved loved the groom & groomsmen's attitudes!
They were willing to do anything and it sparked
some creative pictures. The girls were so sweet.
They are definitely friends for life... and those
are sooooo hard to come by!

Tara & Justin are the sweetest people you
could ever hope to meet. The details of their
wedding were beautiful and it was truly an amazing
